Join Our Team to Impact Children’s Lives in Iceland

CEF Iceland is expanding! We are looking for full-time Local Area Children’s Ministry Co-Ordinators to help us reach, teach, and disciple children with the gospel. As part of our team, you will help children grow in faith, integrate into church communities, and train others to do the same.

Your Purpose

The aim of this role is to:

  • Reach out to children who do not know Christ and introduce them to the gospel.

  • Build children up in faith and help them integrate into local church communities.

Opportunities in This Role

You will have the chance to:

  • Use and develop creative methods to introduce children to Christ.

  • Organize, in cooperation with local church communities:

    • 5-Day Clubs

    • Good News Clubs

    • Holiday Bible Clubs

    • Children’s weeks and outdoor summer activities

  • Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to help with these programs.

  • Share the vision of CEF Iceland and train others to multiply your impact.

  • Build and maintain relationships with prayer partners, financial supporters, and volunteers.

Collaboration & Teamwork

  • Work closely with volunteers, other workers, and area/regional leaders.

  • Foster a team environment while also being able to work independently.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Suitable vocation for work among children and training others.

  • Theological training of at least two years (part-time study while working is acceptable).

  • Willingness to serve children and adults with full commitment.

  • Sociable, friendly, and confident in communicating with supporters and friends.

  • Goal-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Driving license required.

  • Strong computer and technology skills relevant to children’s ministry and training.

Additional Information

  • This role is missionary service, and part of your responsibilities will include enlisting support from others.

  • CEF Iceland operates independently under the umbrella of Child Evangelism Fellowship.
