Equipping
Whether you’re running a Good News Club, a summer camp, or a church holiday programme — we have the resources to help you share the Gospel with children.
A Good News Club is a weekly Bible club for children aged 5–12, running from September through to May/June. Each week children enjoy an hour of Bible teaching, memory verses, singing, games, and activities — all built around one central truth from Scripture.
What’s Taught?
Every session is structured to help children understand the Gospel and grow in their faith. Teaching is consecutive and consistent, working through the Bible and helping children see the whole story of God’s salvation through Jesus Christ.
Resources for Leaders
CEF provides the Unlock(ed) curriculum — a faithful, engaging resource that includes:
- Unlock(ed) BLUEPRINT — a yearly planning guide
- Unlock(ed) CONSTRUCT — full teaching notes and lesson guides
- Unlock(ed) ENHANCE — printable resources, visuals, and crafts
- Unlock(ed) Bible Lesson Visuals — available as flashcards or PowerPoint
- Unlock(ed) Bible Timeline Pack — helps children locate each story in the wider biblical narrative
Where Can Clubs Be Held?
Good News Clubs can run in churches, homes, schools, or community centres.
Get Involved
You can lead a club in your church or community, open your home, church, or school to host one, serve as a helper or assistant, or simply pray for a club near you.
A 5-Day Club is an outdoor evangelistic club designed to reach children who wouldn’t normally attend a church programme. It runs for 5 consecutive days, approximately one hour each day, anytime from May to August.
What’s Included?
Each session combines fun and Gospel teaching — games, activities, Bible truth songs, a memory verse, a Bible lesson, and a quiz.
Where Can Clubs Be Held?
5-Day Clubs are held in the open air wherever children already are — parks, beaches, open spaces, housing estates, gardens, schools, and camping grounds.
Get Involved
You can pray for workers to go into the harvest field, organise a club by leading a team and planning the programme, serve as a helper or assistant, or open your church, home, or school to host one.
A Holiday Bible Club is a week of special meetings for children, held in a church hall or suitable venue. It’s a tremendous opportunity for your church to reach out to unchurched children in your neighbourhood — combining Bible teaching, fun activities, and a clear Gospel challenge.
What’s Included?
Each Holiday Bible Club pack contains everything you need — five engaging Bible lessons, full-colour memory verse materials, catchy original songs with backing tracks, age-appropriate activity books for four levels, fun quizzes to reinforce the teaching, and a comprehensive Teacher’s Resource Book covering everything from planning to running the week from scratch.

We have Gospels of John and a range of engaging, well-designed gospel booklets available for children. Could you help distribute them at a market stall, book table, or community event in your town — or even further afield?
All materials are currently available in English. We’re also looking for someone who could help translate them into Icelandic. If that’s you, we’d love to hear from you.
Who Teaches at our Clubs?
Our teachers are Christian volunteers who share a passion for the Bible, the Gospel, and for children. All teachers are trained by CEF and vetted through the appropriate safeguarding system. They are also required to sign the CEF Statement of Faith annually, confirming their agreement with its biblical content.
